Food was good. Service was sometimes great, sometimes okay. I’d say it’s a decent place to dine in but not so much value for money. It was too expensive for the food that it offered. In other words, if the food was something you’d eat again because it was superb, and difficult to find anywhere else, then yeah they can price it that way. But if you eat there more than once, the options for good value becomes less. When we ate the first time, we were so delighted because the service was great, the food was very good. On the second visit we just had some appetizer, pizza, wings and sandwiches but paid over 250$. So it wasn’t anymore équitable with the price we paid because we can get the same quality of food somewhere else for half the price. But over all I’d still give them a 4. The mai tai was good!

We had dinner at Jake’s American Bar after a busy day at the park. It was a nice change of pace. The service was great and very friendly. We were all able to find something we liked on the menu and got a couple drinks too. The food came out fast and we really enjoyed that it was so close to our room.

Checked into the Loews Royal Pacific and went down to the first floor to Jake’s American Bar for a quick lunch and adult beverage. You can dine inside or outside which is nice. The menu has a nice selection of food items with something for everyone. The bar is fully stocked and the bartenders can make you any drink you want. The have a great specialty drink and wine menu with lots a great recommendations. The prices here are fair and reasonable for a resort. The staff here are very attentive and friendly. I had a good dining experience here and recommend to others.

Great service and out of this world food. We came here after a long morning at Universal and were seated quickly. Server was very friendly and helpful. We had the 8 wings as appetizer and they wer gone in a flash so another order was placed. Even my teen who doesn’t like spicy food was devouring them! For the main course: Buffalo Chicken Flatbread, Chowder, Prosciutto and Goat cheese flatbread, Shrimp Mac n cheese, and the Buffalo Chicken Club. All the items came quickly and piping hot. The flavors were amazing!! The mc n cheese was easily 3 portions. The flatbread texture of the dough was soft and perfect. The sandwich was huge with a very generous and thick chicken breast and oozing with buffalo sauce. For dessert: Churro pudding, berry cheesecake, and Peanut butter smore. All were super decadent and mouth-watering. Amazing presentation. Worth saving room for!!

Very relaxing dinner. After a long hot day in a crowded park it was a good change of pace. We had the 1/2 chicken dish & the veggie burger. Both were delicious. Even the veggie burger was char-grilled and delicious. Chicken was perfect & the potatoes were amazing.
