Watched the crabs being brought in off the dock…so got crabs and crab cakes. It was a very good experience. Great cole slaw too. Cold Beer and shots of whiskey for after the meal. Celebrating 70 years in business. Very Cool Pllace.

Not what I expected. Food was okay but portions were small. Prices were high but somewhat expected due to seafood prices. But, it was a little higher than most other seafood restaurants that are fancier. It seems that the restaurant is more of a nostalgic stop then a go-to eatery. Great service and view. Not what I expected. I got crab imperial which was more like a crab dip on English muffins for $40.00, single crab cake was $25.00, and soft shell crab dinner was $50.00. Sorry, Not going back.

Friendly servers, everyone polite and Sambo’s is always a clean place! Desserts are fantastic! Nice view from any table of the water and crab boats. Great prices! Reservations a must at times. Decorated brings back memories of Dover Downs racing and drivers. A must to go to go and enjoy!

Steamed crabs were excellent. I love their seasoning more than the typical old bay. French fries were piping hot. Macaroni salad is the best ever. There was a group of 6 or 8 that were having a great time. Booming voices which I am absolutely confident they know they have. My husband and I could not hear each other speak. Of course the restaurant cannot control this situation but I do believe the staff was insensitive to the obvious disruption. I asked the staff to leave them a note asking the group to consider how their booming voices affect the people around them. The woman I left the note with was less than empathetic. This has happened here before. So no more for us. Rude and inconsiderate customers are not people I want to be around.
