Papa Al’s was a very unexpected surprise. It is located conveniently a few minutes from my house. Plenty of parking in the front and in the lot. It is located not far from exit 9 on 84. The inside has beautiful decor and some nice paintings. The pizza is what really surprised me. It is probably some of the best Connecticut pizza I have eaten. We got a half regular half Florentine. The regular had some great sauce and cheese. It could give some of the places in New York a run for their money. The Florentine was put together nicely and tasted great. I really enjoyed the ricotta. I may have already found my new pizza spot on the first try. Five stars!

Great pizza!! I ordered a few of their pizza’s to try and they all exceeded my expectations. Their margherita pizza was my favorite it was very flavorful, one of the best I’ve tried. Customer service here is great. The staff is so welcoming and kind, love coming here and will definitely be ordering again sometime soon.

This is a cute little place with unique menu items and great service. We tried the chicken marsala sub and it was different UT delicious. Our waiter brought some fresh bread to the table and it was amazing! Service was great and the food was amazing!

I’ve ordered food from Papa Al’s many times. Unfortunately last time I ordered the bottom of the pizza pie was burned/ black. I ordered a half pepperoni extra large pie and it barely had pepperoni. I wouldn’t had purchased it if I would’ve checked at the pizzeria. You’re charging for the toppings – make sure customers are happy. A happy customer tends to return to your establishment.
