Came across this place for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed! I’ve never had a banana nut latte and it was like drink banana bread. It was a little sweeter than I like but I just added more coffee and it was perfect. The Deluxe Omelette was really good too. The stare of this meal is the sauce that comes with it. I wish I had 3 times what they gave me. It had a tangy/sweet taste that just gave it what was missing. The staff was super nice and I will definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area.

So I loved back to JCMO for a job and quickly found Yanis. Being a foodie from Houston Texas I decided to try them out. They had some great options and reviews. Today I ordered the feta omelette which was great and the strawberry mango banana smoothie. When I received my smoothie via Uber eats, I tasted the smoothie first. The smoothie is extremely sweet, too sweet to drink. I called Yanis explained the issue and Zac the manager told me well that’s how they come and that’s how I made it. He also stated he hates the smoothies and when I asked if I could exchange it for another drink he said no. He was very dismissive and not nice at all, he stated well that’s what you ordered. I said well had I known it would be sweet I wouldn’t have ordered it. I said is there any way I can exchange it for another drink? He said no unfortunately that’s what you ordered. I said so basically I wasted my money. He said oh no you didn’t waste your money. I said yes I did if I can’t even exchange for a tea. I said so basically you don’t care I’m insulin resistant and cannot drink this and I cannot not exchange it? I also stated sir I don’t want my money back just another drink. He said well you can come up here and we can talk about it. lol a joke. If you look at the drink entirely too much mango was used which is probably why it was so sweet.

The atmosphere and people are amazing. I had never eaten here before. Gyros are one my favorites and out of everyone I have eaten, the one they served me was the best! They treated me like family. Next time I’m in Jeff city, I will stop here again. Thank you!

Easily my favorite Mediterranean Café in the US. Great authentic Kosher Mediterranean food. The house made hummus was perfect. I haven’t had such good hummus since I was in Israel. And Yanis, the owner, is the most warm and personable host; always greeting you with a smile and a “halla halla”. He makes you feel like one of the family. I highly recommend visiting Yanis Coffee Zone.
