Uhh for the price, I wish the fried rice had flavor. Literally they don’t use anything in it, it’s bland. The pot stickers were very good but the red crystal sauce that is supposed to be red wine vinegar and sugar was literally just red wine vinegar and salt. Very bitter. I added honey to it and it was saved “kinda”. Crab Rangoon was extremely bland also. It tasted like they were just straight cream cheese and nothing else. The sweet and sour sauce wasn’t enough to save them. Why is the fried rice so bland? Where’s the flavor? Did they run out of essential ingredients?

It’s a local business that got hurt really bad during the pandemic and we have to support it. The owner is a very nice lady and very hard worker: open 7 days. Here is where you get good food on Mondays, when ALL the other restaurants are CLOSED. I like the fried rice with shrimp but my favorite is the steamed dumplings, you get 6 fat ones and soy sauce, or you can get them fried also. The prices are not bad. I like to order take out so she doesn’t have to pay the delivery companies neither have I. You can’t order from a website but you can see the menu online and call to order or use the drive through. There is a charge of $0.25 if paying with card.

Happy Wok food is always hot and fresh. I usually order a menu item and add additional ingredients and they get it right every time. Their delivery is quick and their prices are very good. They are one of the most consistently good restaurants in Dekalb.
