First off, the Service was great! I was the only customer at 2pm on a Saturday. The sub wasn’t terrible, but I also can’t see over the counter. This place is a rodent’s dream! Crumbs everywhere from the counter, to the tables and floor. There were 3 people working, standing around gossiping before I walked. It honestly looked like the place either had a party before I got there or it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. It really made me wonder what the other side of the counter looked like.

I used to come here two years ago, and customer service was beyond awful. Firehouse closed for about a year and recently re-opened. I gave it another chance today, and service was a whole 360 from what it was before. The employees were friendly, cheerful and food was delicious!

I am very impressed. This was my first visit ever. I tried the medium beef brisket on whole wheat. Thinly sliced beef was delicious. Sauce was savory and a little sweet. Very nice. Not too salty. They also surprised me with a little mayo in there. Never had that on a brisket sandwich before. I will be a repeat customer… To try the other subs. This is tasty and relatively healthy fast food.

I went for lunch and waited 49 minutes for my sub. I went up to the counter in 15 minute increments and they kept saying they were busy and mine was on my way. Eventually when the rush was clearing out they realized their mistake and took my order again, but then somehow forgot it and ten minutes later had to take it third time. They apologized and upgraded my meal for free which was nice. The food is quite good and I’m sure the staff was just stressed from the lunch rush, but I think I may be avoiding this place for future lunches. (Maybe I’ll update my review if I have more positive experiences, I think I just got unlucky.)

Both sandwiches that we ordered were wrong. They all friends in their and didn’t care about customers at all. Almost all the toppings were missing and I will not be back. We were going there once or twice a week but no more. Where are the tomatoes and onions? Bad bad service.

Subs are great but the staff on a Sunday evening had everything but customer service on their minds. With 6 customers waiting, there should be a sense of urgency to complete the orders but that was anything but the case. I understand that staffing is difficult but I had to leave after a conversation occured between 2 employees about what goes on a BLT sub.
