If you are looking for a great sushi experience, ZukkuSan is a great choice. Perfect for a date or with friends, this restaurant strikes the right balance. It has great atmosphere without the pretense, and the food is absolutely fantastic. Everything that we ordered was fresh, delicious, and beautifully plated. From the hot towels to the bamboo chairs, the glass water decanter to the table candle, everything was a delight. There is a sushi bar, a separate alcohol bar, and private, cozy booths too. This spot is a lively and delicious “can’t miss”.

It was a memorable lunch experience! It was even more special sharing it with a friend. We were able to share a number of tasty items together. They have quite a few unique and creative specialty rolls. It would have been difficult to choose just one.

Rolls were good, but it took forever to be made. Hand rolls are not worth it, they are very small. Shrimp tempura is very small and not the usual large shrimps. All rolls we tried were very good, stick with them and you’ll be fine.

We went to dinner at the Wesley Chapel location when we stayed at the hyatt place. So close, we just walked over and didn’t have much of a wait. The food was delicious, great waiter, love the atmosphere and the ginger salad was so good. I had the wok fired chicken hibachi noodles and just loved it. When we are back up in this area we will come back.

Amazing food with good atmosphere. Our waiter Alan was amazing at explaining each item and helping pick out rolls we’ve never tried before. The food came out quick and was absolutely delicious. The spicy miso was so big we were able to split it into 2 bowls to share as an appetizer. The ahi tuna tartare was top notch. We got 7 rolls I think and they were all delicious. The only complaint would be their turn around to clearing tables it ridiculous. I saw 4 dirty tables that they left dirty for over 20min. Other than that it’s a must try.

ZukkuSan has a great atmosphere and well presented dishes! Their shrimp volcano definitely lived up to my expectations; and crab Rangoon was a great started choice. However, I do wish they didn’t have individual stall restrooms; as it was very busy when I visited and there a line to get in.

The restaurant’s atmosphere is gives a nice casual vibe with the open seating but the decorations, the food presentations, and the quality of everything give 5 star fancy restaurant vibes. You even get hot towels when you sit down!!
