Went there for dinner since it’s so close to hotel we stayed at. Food was ok, nothing special IMO. I’m mostly reviewing because the guy making the food was excellent. He was so aware of food safety – meaning he changed his gloves every time he should of. And I loved it! He was also super peppy too.

These places are like all over this area and I was not interested but seriously, I’m SIX days into my vacation and this is first REAL MEAL of my travels, disappointingly. But this place hit a HOME RUN ——— scrambled eggs with cheese were PERFECT (not runny like yesterdays Cracker Barrel place), the sausage gravy and biscuit was SO GREAT I took every drop I couldn’t finish home to snack on – I even found the two sausage patties were perfectly cooked. But what was completely unexpected was my friend I was visiting insisted (and regretted) on my tasting her blueberry waffle. I mean, it’s a waffle, no big deal since I was a toddler. They apparently make them with FRESH BLUEBERRIES and OH MY STARS what a taste – and WHAT A SMELL. Ended up eating a full quarter of hers and I’m getting more on the drive home to NY. Seriously these don’t need butter or syrup – and no, I don’t joke about food. She ordered the waffle with extra blueberries —- so there IS that, but this place is TOTALLY worth a stop even if only for the waffle. I’m a 57yo Waffle House Convert. Of course there’s none in NY but I know how to drive to Ohio! No wonder they are all over this Gulf coast!!!! The server’s name was Amber ———— if you stop in there, thank her for me, as I Know I won’t be headed back down here anytime soon.

Our waitress was very nice and greeted us and got our drinks quickly. However, there was a large gap in between our items we ordered. I received all of my food at once, which was a ham and cheese omelet plate. My husband wasn’t so lucky. He ordered the all star plate. It was about a 5 min delay for his waffle. We had to ask 4 times for his sausage gravy biscuit. We were completely done eating and they had already cleaned the kitchen… When he did receive it the gravy was extremely thick and he said it didn’t taste right.

Fabulous food (easily the best WH bacon I’ve ever had) and fast, friendly service.

We’ve been looking for the most beautiful view of the beach and this is it! Amazing service! Perfect waffle and hubs eggs were even right! We got a lil goofy playing uptown funk and lots of happy people. Blessed

It’s a Waffle House, so don’t expect no frills. We stopped in for breakfast, and really enjoyed it. Typical WH food, which we really like, but the service was better than most. And as a bonus, you get waterfront dining!
