Lunch here was great. Cafe 517 has a cool atmosphere and the food we got was good. It might have been a little difficult to find if we didn’t have someone in our group that was familiar with the building. It’s inside a big strip mall like building on the ground floor.

Had the Malibu Chicken Sandwich and ordered their fresh fruit cup. Both were really fresh and delicious. The sandwich was really big with tender chicken and very fresh greens, tomatoes that were fully ripe. The fruit cup was so good- all the berries and grapes were large, sweet and crisp. I was impressed because it’s not even berry season! The sandwich came with a small side, so I ordered the yellow potato salad. It wasn’t great, but not bad. I just prefer my homemade recipe.

The best grilled sandwiches ever. If you miss those homemade grilled sandwiches your mom used to make. This is the place. I ordered the Turkey avocado one. So delicious to me better than subway or any other sandwich place. Go give these guys a try support our local business.
