Backyard Burgers franchises are hard to find these days where we are from. This place has awesome burgers and the staff was friendly. Our favorites are the blackjack burger and the Hawaiian chicken sandwich. The lemonade is great too.

Food is always good but I can’t say the same for the manager, Lisa, I had to deal with when they mixed up my order, she was very rude to me and the staff and from the looks of the restaurant she doesn’t like she’s doing her job.

The food was hot and fresh, but the restaurant was dirty. Tables were dirty, salt and pepper shakers were sticky when I picked them up to use them. The whole place looked like it needed a good scrubbing.

Went on 04/11/16 for my bday lunch and had the Mushroom Swiss Angus Burger and it was VERY DELICIOUS ! The waffle fries were great as well… Husband had the Double Back Yard Burger with season fries and he was very pleased too ! We both enjoyed and has become a “come back” place for us !

Friendly staff. Great burgers and food, in taste, quality and quantity. The drinks were filled up with ice up to 3/4 of the cup. Only got a few good sips of pop. If you do eat here make sure to say no ice.

Staff was friendly and service was prompt. The burger I had was the steakhouse, with bacon and mushrooms. The meat patty was thick and juicy, and the entire meal did have a rather home cooked taste to it. I’ll be coming back for sure.

On 09-16-2015, I went to BYB to get a quick burger and a drink. One customer was in front of me and I waited at least 15 minutes for my food. There were at least 3 employees. Just before I was handed my burger, the cook stated, he smelled hair. He laid down his spatula and started brushing his right arm with his left hand OVER THE GRILL! I can’t stomach the thought of ever going back.

Literally made us sick. First and last visit. We ordered a burger. I received a lecture from Gary, the senior citizen cashier about how bad it is for me to eat meat the way I wanted it. I should have informed him I wasn’t interested in his carcinogenic grilled beef, but my son wanted to stay. So I just told him not to tell me how to eat my food. Say you can’t cook it my way and leave it at that. The waffle fries were cold, hard and dry. I’m surprised I didn’t chip a tooth. the hamburgers were gross. The only redeeming quality of the burger was the lettuce and tomato. Twenty minutes later I was ill. Forty minutes later my son was ill. My son wanted to give a negative five to this experience. I have pictures, but I don’t want to post partially eaten food. How does anyone eat this garbage? We threw most of it away, still got sick and it wasn’t cheap. Go to Ruby Tuesday; quality is better and you won’t get sick. As someone else mentioned, the food doesn’t arrive hot.
