I don’t think it’s open… The inside’s been full of broken tiles and stuff every time we’ve visited, and the dumpster’s never emptied. The parking lot’s a great meeting place, though!

Great little place. Might be small but packs a big punch of flavor! The bbq on the weekends is some of the best I’ve had! The hash and rice has an amazing sweet and tangy flavor, the okra is perfectly breaded and fried crunchy, Mac and cheese rich in flavor with some nice crispy edges. Tried the ribs today and man I don’t know if it’s a marinade or a dry rub that gives these ribs so much flavor but I hardly need bbq sauce on these bad boys they have so much rich Smokey flavor and tangy juicy seasoning on top.

Best bbq and hash I have ever had. All there food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. There homemade chocolate cake was delicious. If your in this area it is must eat. You have to look for it or you may miss it.

We order two different dinners one with frog legs that’s pictured and one with cat fish fillets.. we got different sides ..everything was so delicious… the fish and frog legs has a crunchiness but not hard.. the sides were hush puppies and Okra and green beans and pasta salad…utterly best tasting sides we had ever… we will be back can’t wait…

Just OK. Staff is fantastic but I have had better fried food at Bush’s in Graniteville. Place only offers fried options for fish. Bush’s offered a grilled/sauteed version which I prefer for health reasons. That said I won’t say its bad. Shrimp portions could be more generous feels like they were skimp on the shrimp sometimes.

I’ve lived around the corner from here since they have opened and have been meaning to get there as I’m from Louisiana and love love love seafood. Just stopped in to get a seafood platter with all the seafood and of course catfish, okra and collars and I have to say it smelt amazing my whole ride home and every bite is absolutely fabulous.Cooked to perfection and the tasteesst I’ve had in a while!!! I will be returning and referring Amazing!!!

Stopped by on my way to work. The Gentleman is very pleasant. Food was very good Jumbo Shrimp, Onoin Rings and Coleslaw. Cooked Fresh to order. Fast and Friendly service. I really enjoyed how he gives words of encouragement to everyone especially the young men. I will be going back. Please everyone support your local businesses. Oh and the Banana Pudding you just have to go try it yourself.

Best backwood country food that rivals OldMcDonald Fishcamp, but better prices. The froglegs and okra were immaculate and fried to perfection. Definite place to try out the whole menu!!!

The epitome of southern seafood….exactly, spot on, 100% perfect. Seafood fried to a light airy perfection, seasoned perfectly, and cooked, served and sold by the nicest people you could ever ask to meet. I just relocated to the area after being away for 12 of the last 14 years, living and working abroad and the western half of the US and I was afraid the old adage about never being able to go home would proved true….but Mj’s definitely put those fears to rest…..it is entirely possible to return home when home has folks like those at Mj’s around! And the food doesn’t hurt either! Give them a try, you will be a fan forever.
