Yosaku has been my family’s go-to restaurant for years. We love that there is something for everyone: the meat-eaters, the fish-lover, and the vegetarian. The vegetable sushi dinner, seaweed salads, bean sprouts, agedashi tofu, and teriyaki salmon are particularly delicious. 10/10 recommend! Come support Yosaku!

The raw ingredients are so fresh and the rolls are tasty and worth every penny spent.

Quiet. We would come here whenever we visited my son at the university. He has since graduated and he brought me here today. Brings back a lot of memories. Awesome menus. Excellent customer service. I enjoyed every minute.

The sushi here, unfortunately, was just not that good. The rolls were mostly rice with only a little fish, and the rice itself was gummy, like it was cooked for far too long. After the meal, we felt like we had a bad aftertaste in our mouths. Some of the fish had no flavor or were very difficult to bite through.

Great food and great experience. Every seat was filled when we came in but our appetizers came out quickly. There was a little bit of a wait for our entrees to come out but it was worth it. I had the eel sunomono salad and the eel was the best I ever had. Wish I was hungry enough to make the eel over rice worthwhile but looking forward to getting the chance to try it. My partner had the miso ramen and the portion size was very generous. Overall definitely recommend!

Great service, the waitress was very accomodating and very nice. The fastest we ever had Sushi deliver to the table. Food was awesome!!! The environment was intimate and quiet. They have Happy Hour Sushi everyday from 5-7:30, too bad we got there late, but it was worth it. Whenever we come back to Washington DC, we’re definitely coming back. Highly recommend it.

This was such a a lovely, cozy, Japanese restaurant! The eel was absolutely hands-down delicious. Ordered the noodle combo which was an excellent deal–the ramen bowl though is HUGE, though it was super tasty and I wanted to eat every bite I’m afraid to say I couldn’t finish it The service was also excellent–everyone was very polite and kind and the manager gave us some edamame as a nice gesture for waiting for our meals (we didn’t even think it was that long, we were very comfortable and enjoying ourselves!) Excellent food and experience!!

I saw a few reviews saying the sushi was dry, but saw so many good reviews I went ahead and ordered. The sushi is really dry and falls apart. Poor quality avocado on a specialty roll. The miso ramen was packed in such a way that no matter how carefully I tried to open it broth spilled out all over my hands and counter (good thing it wasn’t as hot as it should’ve been!). Also I’m fairly certain the miso ramen isn’t miso (like pork added) or it is just very bad quality. I don’t love to leave bad reviews but when you spend $35 plus Uber fees and a tip I expect the ramen to taste better than instant, and my sushi to stick together
