Saturday evening, the place was busy but not packed. The staff didn’t try to make us feel welcome (except for one young man that was really nice). We ordered the beet salad, there was no dressing, no taste but vinegar with a lot of onions.

We had a reservation and went with a party of 13 on Father’s Day. We actually had to call because we were running 15 minutes late. They were very nice and still seated us as soon as we got there. The food was delicious. I had the special seafood stuffed salmon. So, so happy I ordered that. It was great. Everyone had a good meal and a good time.

Very cute. Nice staff, clean, outdoor eating, real linen napkins, easy parking. Large variety of beverages -wine, cocktail, ciders. Only had appetizers but they were unique and delicious!!! Portions were perfect, well balanced flavors and visual appeal. Brussels and barata salad. I have one little comment, the dishware is so… Sorry… Ugly. It clashes with everything and distracts from the quality, flavor, smell of the food. The plates are too busy. However this won’t stop me from a return visit if in the area. Enjoy!!!

I was so impressed with this beautiful treasure of a restaurant. Everything was so fresh, and delicious. A neighborhood restaurant where people are friendly, service was great. Loved it and will go back. Great place.

Stopped here for lunch after a hike with my wife. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a great outdoor seating area. We each ate a different panini. What we ordered was not anything special but it’s a charming location in the center of town with fair prices.

Clearly a local favorite, it was the only non-chain restaurant that we could find in Coxsackie open on a Monday night in early June (ahead of the summer season, I guess). Friendly service, a bit slow as the place filled up and the two servers seemed overwhelmed. Our pasta dishes came in large portions, but both of our choices were bland and just mediocre. Not much to recommend it to visitors except availability.

What a great find off the beaten trail and in the historic Reed Street section on Coxsackie. Near the Hudson River and a downtown that is getting revitalized. So quaint inside and out! Food was phenomenal and flavorful.
