My husband and I live in a tiny one horse town , it’s nice to come into Americus and get a really good cup of coffee and some quality treats now and then. When my family comes to visit, I always take them to this Cafe and we enjoy good food and good company.

Great food every single time. Love their turkey salad, I always get it. My new favorite sandwich is their ham one! The chickpea sandwich was alright, guess you need to love chickpeas to love it.

I ordered a cappuccino with an extra shot for myself and asked if they could steam some milk for my little girl in a small cup (some cafes refer to this as a ‘steamer’ or ‘babycino’). The barista agreed to do it but then directed the teller to ring it up as a latte! A $4.75 latte! The average price of a gallon of milk is less than that. Not to mention, there was no double shot of espresso in the actual cup but yet I’m charged the same price as if there was . Absolutely disgraceful. I also wasn’t impressed with the service in general. Call me old-fashioned but when a customer comes to the counter, a teeny little bit of friendliness or pleasantries goes a long way. That was pretty much non-existent, which I find surprising for a cute little cafe in historic downtown Americus. It was by no means busy either so that’s not really an excuse. I was super excited to grab some drinks from this place and instead I walked out angry and disappointed.

Conveniently located in downtown Americus, this shop offers great food and friendly service. Seating is somewhat limited, but we were able to get a table. Everyone in our group loved the roasted tomato soup, and I especially liked the Ham Jam sandwich! Lemonade was refreshing and not overly sweet. The lattes were great, too!

We eat here every day. The coffee is roasted locally. The baked goods are delicious. There are excellent vegetarian options on both the breakfast and lunch menus. Opens at 7 am during the week. Across Lamar Street from the historic Windsor Hotel. We like the carrot cake best of all. Cous cous and roasted vegetables are a great choice for lunch.

Great place for lunch!. They bake their own artisan breads daily and everything is prepared fresh to order. I can make a meal on just the bread, but pile some pot roast on and I’m in heaven.

It’s a special treat to go here to enjoy the foccica bread as a sandwich. I had a pork sandwich which turned out to be a Cuban. It was delicious. I also had a cup of coffee which was good and strong. Sun chips and Almond lemon curd sweet. It was all delicious. I bought a mini chocolate flourless cake which she put in a small container. I gave it to a friend in the in the hospital. She was delighted with it. I bought a pound of Wake up Americus coffee. They buy their own beans and roast it themselves. Looking forward to going back. Only pick up but there are chairs to sit and wait. Recommend calling ahead to place your order.
