We came in a group of 8. Our waitress was super friendly and provided excellent service. We are from Alabama and so maybe it’s a cultural thing, but the BBQ was bland and the slaw was only mayo and cabbage. They also don’t have “white sauce” here. The smoked half chicken was lightly smoked. But good. The wings were good, and the sides were good. Excellent onion rings and we used the app to receive free banana pudding. I’m glad it was free I wouldn’t buy it.

I ordered the beef brisket salad. The brisket was moist and tender. The salad was so big I couldn’t finish it. The ribs were not quite as tender as I prefer, but still had good flavor.

I got the beef brisket sandwich. It was pretty good. The brisket was very tender and delicious. A bit too seasoned, but it was very well cooked. Mom and my wife got the crispy chicken salad. That is a phenomenal option as well. Great people and customer service.

Christina and the whole staff were super nice. They told us several times that the burgers would take a little while longer but we hardly waited long at all. We brought our dog and they very kindly say us in the patio and gave him a dog bowl. Genuinely excellent service and genuinely good food.

Excellent locally owned BBQ restaurant. The BBQ chicken was extremely tasty and smoked to perfection. The Brunswick stew is full of meat and vegetables without being overwhelmed with BBQ sauce.

Not bad for a chain. We had coupons for $5 off on $25 so we decided to get 3 meats on a plate and the chicken. The pulled pork and briskets are tender and delicious. The spare ribs were kind of a disappointment given how dry and hard it was. It also seems like the ribs didn’t get marinated enough and not cooked long enough. The sides were better, especially the green beans and the red beans. Overall, decent price, decent food (I recommend the brisket and the pulled pork), but there are better bbq places in Jacksonville.

Excellent food! Got a feast with the added St. Louis-style ribs with beans and Brunswick stew for sides. Chose the brisket and sausage for the deal. Lots of food and it was fabulous. Simple, casual atmosphere with friendly staff.
