Bri our waitress was so professional and gave some great recommendations on drinks and food choices. The shrimp and grits were good but I think a bit overpriced for the amount they give you. The veggie egg rolls were just okay. I’m glad we came early to best the late dinner and night life crowd so we received our food in a timely manner. I would go ack and maybe order the chicken and waffles and partake in the cigar lounge. They had my favorite brand if cigars.

This was my first time here, but not my last. My daughter had been there with her job, so she suggested lunch at Good Times for my best friend ,who’s here from Florida and myself. The whole atmosphere was awesome. We dined outside. Our server Craig was outstanding, and the food was so delicious. The place was very clean and the staff was professional and kind. I will be back!

Haven’t had a bad time or food at this place. Definitely worth adding to your staple of restaurants. Food is on point. Chicken wings are seasoned and delicious . Sides are good as well. Drinks are strong. Atmosphere always live but controlled. Don’t sell yourself short sticking with downtown establishments. Check out “The Ave” and all that it has to offer. Especially this place where you are guaranteed to have a “Good Time”.

My lady and I was looking for a bunch spot this morning and through that 45 minutes was but much and we settled on this place and I definitely will be returning. The overall vide and ambience of the place is laid back and chill with hip hop music pumping throigh the speakers.

The vibe was great..my sister & I ordered the KING CRAB bag! My cousins had the lamb chops.. we also order spinach dip! The dip was good I’ll give them that!waitress told me that they took the king crab bag off the menu, she went to go check to see if it was still on the menu, I was so happy when she said it’s back on the menu But that seafood bag was a complete miss! The crab still had that fresh sea water taste, and no one is going to tell me that’s king crab! I asked the runner and he said it was king.. a cluster of king crab… yea okay! my corn was over cooked and not even in the sauce, I bit into my egg and immediately spat it out! I told the witness and she told the owner/manger whomever she is, the lady comes up to my table and ask if I wanted to take that back, I said yes.. she just took the bowel and left.. no I’m sorry about that nor can I get you something else.. my waitress come up to the table and told me that she told her to cash me out… waitress went on and told me that I couldn’t order any more food bc I wasted $170 worth of food and that I may not like what I order next… never will I set foot in this place ever again! If I could give this black owned establishment zero stars, I definitely would

Had a great happy hour experience at good times recently. Tons of drink specials and food options. The wait staff did a really good job and was fairly attentive. The food was cool, your typical appetizers for happy hour. I would definitely check them out again the next time I’m in the area.

My friends and I sat on the patio, and received great service from our waitress Nakia. She was friendly and energetic. Plus the food and drinks were bomb.. My Long Island and spinach dip were so good and tasty. I’ll be back!!

I went here for the first time 08/13, to celebrate my best friend birthday. Mind you, they knew that our party was for a birthday. When I get there with her small cake and 6 cupcakes I was told “don’t be surprise if $100 is added to the bill” because there is a cake fee. I asked her what was included in that hundred dollar cake fee, and she said the clean up. Like we are a bunch of eight-year-olds who is going to be fired cake or something. They have to clean off the table when we leave, so why would it be extra? We proceed to sit, and the the waitress took our drink order, which did not come until an hour later. After she took our drink order, they took our food order which did not come until a hour and a half later. Mind you the party started at 1 o’clock and they told us we had a two hour window. We had to be out by 3pm, but our food did not come until 2:40. One of her guests left and canceled her order. When we got our food to the table about 2:40 we spoke to the manger about the two-hour window which they were adamant about because it is now 20 minutes away. Then they started taking plates because they were running out of dishes in the kitchen. They proceeded to try and grab my plate, and I was not even finished eating. I had to yell at the bus boy to tell him to come back because I am not done. I am only giving them one star because the food was good. But the service was horrible. We try to support our black owned businesses and it is people like this that make it bad for us. I would have rather the food will be bad, but the service be great, I would have lease gave him another chance. I will not be patronizing this business ever again.

We just had great times at Good Times on the Ave. Thank you to Nakia for taking care of us. She made amazing drink @ appetizer recommendations. Extremely professional & made this the best visit in a long time! I’ll see her next visit.
