This place has excellent food but there is a bit of fraud in pricing. They don’t directly list prices as they should. They will however charge extra 9 dollars “depending” on the ulam. The cashier isn’t so nice either…dollar sign is written all over her vulvitis mouth. Customer beware. Should be reported to BBB for fraud…just saying.

Was looking for a Filipino food place near work and bingo! Found a gold mine! They have all kinds of goodies. So much that I dont think I need to go any where else for a long time 🙂

I was buying lunch. I ask the service crew that i don’t eat pork and shrimp. But still serve in my order. So I returned it . They did not even apologized . Then, when I buy again stuff after I ate .. I said thank you.. to the cashier but the cashier just frown ..I hope they will change.. I like American restaurant they are so courteous as per experience of mine .

Fraudulent pricing. They charge what they want just like another reviewer said. Not friendly either. Karma got them because another huge Philippine o place opened up on El Toro by the 99 cents store.

Delicious Filipino dishes with authentic ingredients and taste. Here I had Beef Kaldereta (Beef Stew with Tomato Based Sauce) and Bopis (Exotic Spicy Dish using Pork cheeks, ears, and organs using spicy mix). I also had Chao Koh coconut water for the reason it has no preservatives and tastes great.

I ordered lechon pork belly for Christmas, which usually comes as a roll. When I came to pick up my order it was all chopped up and looked like a lechon kawali. When I told them it wasn’t what I ordered, I was told I had to let them know not to chop it up. There was no option anywhere to select chopped or whole, and how was i supposed to know this. Anywhere you go that pork lechon belly ss sold, it’s a roll.. I was expecting a whole roll for our Christmas table, but instead got nothing but a lechon kawali. .I believe they ran out of my order, and passed lechon kawali as lechon belly.

06.21.22 Patience is what you’ll need when you stop by and join the line of folks waiting to order and pay for food. There’s no doubt about the cooks here – great food and authentic Filipino food. The folks who take orders are great, too. There’s only one checkout and the clerk at check out works fast as she can (I have not seen a male clerk at check out). If you don’t mind waiting for good food, then you’ll be fine because you’ll leave wanting to eat right away. For non-Filipinos and wanting to try or open to try any kind of food, you may want to ask for something that is less salty. Salt and pepper are not typical at dining tables in Philippines so food is generally prepared ‘to taste’ and if you ordered to eat there, be prepared that food might be cold (if long wait line) and in really cheap styrofoam plates. I hope they’ll think about switching to more environmentally-friendly paper plates. Three stars only because the flow from order to pay can be improved. I hope the owner sees this review because that part of customer service can be improved. Think logistics like UPS and your business will see customers double or triple. My best to the business – pretty good and authentic Filipino food in South Orange County.
