Tonight was the first time I ate at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Great service. The food was amazing. We got the steak for 3 for a party of 6 and we still had food leftover. Of course we had other food that we ordered as well. I personally loved the Lobster Bisque. It was very creamy and full of flavor. Their creamed spinach was also very good. The steak was also cooked to perfection. If you’re in Waikiki and looking for a Steakhouse I would not hesitate to visit Wolfgang’s.

I’m a Korean who came from Korea. I lived in the United States for 6 years and worked at various restaurants as a server for 5 years. However, I had a very unpleasant experience at Wolfgang Steakhouse during my recent visit. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 steaks. The food was perfect, and the steaks were delicious, to the point where I suggested to my companions that we should visit again before the trip ends. Our meal cost $380, and I left a tip of around 15%. The service was also excellent, but given the increase in tip relative to the food price, a 15% tip felt burdensome. Still, since I left over $55 as a tip, I thought it was sufficient. However, our server didn’t seem to think so. After checking the tip, they brought the check BACK to our table and openly demanded more tip, stating it wasn’t sufficient. This is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. Is tipping legally mandated in Hawaii, or is it just an obligation? I don’t think it should be this way.

I have been eating here for the past 10 years. Taste of NY is the best. You get NY steak on a sizzling platter, mashed potato, creamed spinach, and Cheesecake for $85. Only for lunch and during happy hour. Lumped crab meat for $40 is amazing. Remember to validate your parking on your way out. first hour free with validation and second and third hour for discounted $2/per hour. The owner and his wife are very nice and friendly. Lovely couple! Service is hit or miss, avoid Jeremy W as waiter. Ask wine pour at the table, twice they brought bad wine in the glass.

I have never left a Google Maps review ever in my life until now. This food was so utterly bland and boring. I am genuinely shocked that the tomato and onion salad was quite literally two pieces cut tomato and an onion. It doesn’t even come with salad dressing.
