Marfa Texas Kitchen has great dishes and a fun new high-end restaurant in College Station. They have different menus for lunch and dinner; I guess I’ll have to be back for lunch. We got the fig & goat as an app which was great. I would have preferred it on crunchy slices of bread instead of crustini but it was good. We also got the Scottish Salmon, Ruffino’s 10oz and chicken fried steak. Go check out Marfa Texas Kitchen.

I bought the Big Rib, and my mom and step-dad bought the BBQ Brisket Burger. The food was good, but unfortunately, the portion size was misleading for the Big Rib. I do not believe the server was intentionally trying to mislead us, but she explained that the Big Rib was large enough to last for multiple meals. I am a petite woman who usually can make a standard size meal last for two to three meals. The Big Rib was not the size it was described to us and, in fact, was a single meal size.

Met for a business lunch. What a cool place. Welcoming decor and staff – and delicious food! The server recommended the deviled eggs. Good call! The Not Boring Bison Burger was excellent too.

Stopped by for lunch and had a great experience! I had the “Basic Not Boring Brisket Burger” and the “Figgin’ Drink”. The jalapeño bacon jam on the burger was delicious and went perfectly with the toasted and slightly sweet bun. Fries were crispy and flavorful and my cocktail was really well balanced. Big portions, tasty food and cocktail, and excellent service/ambiance!

I order the brisket tacos and there was way too much sauce on the brisket for me. Really couldn’t taste the beef. My buddy ordered the burger and it just fell apart on him. The bottom bun was just sogged out. The service was great but I expected better from 15$ to 17$ plates.

A friend from church told me they have been ordering the Chicken Friend Steak!!! So, I was ready to try it. It was awesome!!! Crispy the calamari excellent w/ alittle touch of spiciness. House Margarita, I asked for no orange juice. It was excellent!!!

Restaurant has a very cool vibe and food is absolutely wonderful. Definitely recommend the big rib or the bone in ribeye! Service there was outstanding, ask for Josh or Hannah as they were knowledgeable and super friendly. Over all a great experience, even the owner came to our table and checked on us. Will be back. 🙂
