I’ve been to several Mellow Mushroom locations before now, but really liked the look, atmosphere and overall location of this one. It’s located right in the heart of Downtown Athens and has a tall and open feel. The servers were very attentive and friendly and were quick on orders. As a side note, I ordered a LIl Greek and forgot how big those were because I was practically full by the time my pizza came out! Great place to stop for a drink and meal when in Athens.

I ordered a salad and my husband ordered a half hoagie.. my salad came out I finished it and my husband’s food never came. Finally he said don’t worry about it. He had to go next door and eat after we left. The waitress didn’t even attempt to make it right. 0 stars in reality ✨️ you come to eat, leaving without eating is unacceptable.

It was also my Daughters birthday, so she gave my girls each a cookie and one of their in-house Popsicles. The food was awesome and I’m telling you all Kasey was wonderful!!! Highly chill environment and very unique. Its was great night!!! Thank you Mellow Mushroom for helping us Michigan people show my daughters a great time here in Georgia!!!

I really have enjoyed Mellow Mushroom pizza since moving to the south. You can actually taste the mushrooms! They use truffle sauce. It’s ridiculous good. Each of their restaurants have a unique feel and original art. It may be a “chain” but it certainly didn’t feel like one. Our family liked talking with their employees. Very friendly and conversational. Favorite pizza place.
