New to the area and decided to give this place a shot after seeing such great reviews. As soon as I got my food and opened everything it was gone within minutes. The food is fresh and so yummy. Customer service is amazing. Affordable prices and good yummy fresh food with amazing customer service. I will be back very soon. I ordered broccoli cheddar soup, cheese fries, boneless mild buffalo wings& mozzarella sticks.

We went here because Jim Thorpe and the surrounding area was insanely busy anf you couldn’t even get in town. I am so glad we found this little gem. I had the best cheesesteak I have ever eaten! My Coal Miners cheesesteak had marinara, onion rings, and mozarella sticks and wow..I ate evety bite. The service was a little slow only because they had a huge rush (probably people doing the same thing we were) all at once but the girls couldn’t be friendlier. The drinks were awesome and the decor was really cute. They are doing a contest for their homemade halloween drinks. My boyfriend had the Coal Miners burger and could onky eat about 1/2 brcsuse it was so big. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area and you can’t beat the prices.

It’s a small town local bar with a small dining room attached. The servers were very nice and accommodating on our visit. And even though our group (12 people) doubled the occupancy of the place, they took our orders in stride and served us in a very timely manner. The food was delicious, and there were some unique items on the menu worth checking out.

We walked in and didn’t get greeted, just looked at. Awkward. I ordered a club which was terrible. It fell apart in the to go box and the ingredients were cheap and tasted cheap as well. The turkey was Oscar Meyer or something pre-packaged. The bacon was… chewy? Hard? Not crispy but HARD like beef jerkey. The lettuce was borderline slimy and the bread was the cheapest wheat possible. And it wasn’t toothpicked so it fell apart instantly. The loaded fries were amazing. Perfect bacon to cheese ratio and the fries themselves were cooked well. The cheese steak looked basic and like pre packaged ingredients. Overall, I’m not going to return except for the occasional $5 wine slushie.

The food isn’t bad. I called and ordered off the online menu but when I got there to pick up my order the total was almost $10 more than what it should have been according to the menu. Get your menu prices updated.

Stopped in for lunch today with my son. This is a small corner tavern with seating for 16 in the bar plus a dining room around the back. We shared an order of wings. He had the coal miner cheesesteak featuring mozarrla sticks and onion rings. I had the #9 Coal Mine burger, which is a double cheeseburger with bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion rings. That plus two beers and the tip came to only $64.
