Back in July when this restaurant first opened, it was very good. Tonight I took my husband out for his birthday. Even by 6:30 pm we were the only ones there. The service was ok. The pulled pork, brisket, and prime rib was 90% fat. I couldn’t eat much of It. Strangely,in January, they still had Sam Adams Oktoberfest still on tap. My husband got it, and it was flat and had to be returned. We will not be eating there again.

Diamond in the rough. Bourbon Barrel BBQ is the second floor of Between the buns. They have an excellent selection of top shelf Bourbon and many other drinks. The BBQ is made fresh daily making the quality phenomenal. The food came out quick and was cooked exactly as described and ordered. The staff was well spoken, pleasant, and attentive. This is a new go to when I’m in the area. I highly recommend giving this little place a try you won’t be disappointed.

Drove over an hour to have dinner there tonight with 11 other people only to find they just changed their hours and are not open on Sunday nights. If changing hours should update the website to reflect new hours!! Disappointed kids looking forward to ribs!
