It feels like you’re in a Grandma’s really nice home. And the cooking matches! Down home Southern cooking. Big portions, great value! We tried the omelette, grits, biscuits, French toast. Everything was fresh. Service was quick and friendly despite how crowded it was. Parking lot fills up quickly.

Loved Big Ed’s. Great Food and friendly service. Good southern food with southern staples like Country Fried Steak (Chuckwagon), Chicken and Dumplings, Mashed Taters, Mac-n-Cheese, Collards, Fried Okra and more with Banana pudding and Apple Cobbler. Some of the best corn bread (I could have eaten a pan of it).

The ambiance, the memorabilia, and the food were all amazing food and staff I truly can’t say enough great things. I just love big eds. Our waitress today was new her name is Alyssa she was awesome!!! We hope to have her again. Great first day Alyssa thank you for such service

I visited Big Ed’s for breakfast, and while the service was excellent, I have to say the food was a bit disappointing. My wife and I shared the same experience. One strange thing was that they put the grits on top of the eggs, which didn’t work well for us. Overall, the service saved the experience, but the food could definitely be improved.

I wish there were more stars I could give this place! We literally just moved to town 3 hours before we came here and feel like we’ve already found our go to place. Everything we tried was amazing, from the fried steak to the banana pudding, biscuits, corn bread, chicken strips, burger, mashed potatoes…it was all fantastic! The server was so delightful and the cook even came around and asked how we liked everything, which was just a nice touch. On top of that, the prices were really reasonable, darn near fast food prices. I’m really looking forward to trying their breakfast. We will definitely be returning regularly!

The service was good and the staff was very friendly. I got the biscuits with sausage gravy and a pancake. The sausage gravy was they best I’ve ever had. I don’t know if I could ever eat here again without ordering that. The pancake was very large and tasty. Most pancakes, IMO are dry, not here. I’ll definitely be back!

We came to the Garner location and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Angelica was our waitress and provided high quality service, she was very helpful and helped our little one as well. Food was delicious, the wait was not long, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. We will be back in the future for sure
