The food was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the fish tacos and received three tiny fish sticks wrapped in their own cold soft flour tortillas. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich that was literally a lump of dried pulled pork and a squirt of what was probably sweet baby rays. Maybe my expectations were too high for a boardwalk restaurant? I’m not sure. But I really do not get the hype for this place at all.

I really don’t review things usually, but this warranted a review. The bagged potato chips were the best thing on the menu. That’s about all I can say positive. The mussels were tough & rubbery, smelled unnatural, full of sand and had barnacles. The lobster crab cake sandwich was tasteless and the consistency of day old oatmeal. Even the sodas were so flat. Service came to get our order and give us a check that’s all. Really no redeeming qualities. I recommend just not going… 75$ later and now we have an experience to simply laugh about.

After a nice day on the beach, I decided to stop to dine here. I walked by this place a few times and was interested by the appearance so finally gave it a go. The service was quick and I went around 4pm so it was not as busy. The patio outside is always full but it was fairly quiet inside. The food was not the best.

I wish we could have sat outside as it would definitely make the experience more pleasant. The inside is very plain with no character. The service was great. The food was meh/mediocre diner food. Definitely good for a quick bite but pricy for the qualify you get. Sadly there aren’t many places like these left on the boardwalk. I may stop by another time, but nothing knocked my socks off.

I tried Clancy’s for the first time last year. First I tried their raviolis and I thought they were okay. But this time (August 2023) I tried their macaroni and cheese and it was probably some of the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had. Also their French fries are super crispy and delicious.

Decent, unremarkable food but great atmosphere if you sit outside. We were able to get a table immediately at about 5 PM on Sunday in peak season but there was a wait shortly afterwards.
