Absolutely fell in love with this place the second I saw the building. The service is phenomenal – genuinely friendly and so proud of the food they’re making. Everything is made in house. The tortillas are exquisite. The tamales are incredible. Finally the pork green chili is exceptional. I’ve been back into Detroit for a couple of weeks and can’t stop thinking about this place.

As a Denver native, this may be the best burrito joint I’ve ever been to! Legit!

I been going here for years. yesterday I ordered 2 camargo special burritos (which I always get) hours later I’m vomiting, I have horrible diarrhea and bad stomach pain. I eneded up at the ER because it was Food Poising! I tired to call and let them know and of course they got defensive. Food contamination is serious! He stated “well I ate the food and I feel fine”. for him not being empathetic towards the situation and say I’m lying is beyond me. Public health shall be paying them a visit soon!

Very disappointed in this neighborhood spot. The service was terrible. The older lady at the counter was extremely rude and unhelpful. I ordered an enchilada, two smothered Beef & Bean burritos and two handheld bean and chicharrones burritos. It came to $52. I understand prices have gone up but $52 for four burritos is crazy. I asked for a receipt, a detailed receipt not just the credit card receipt and she was irritated but gave it to me and I found that they charged an additional $5.25 per burrito for chili and cheese. When we got home I opened my burrito (photo) the Beef & Bean smothered burritos were bean and potato and I picked at it then threw it away. The bean and chicharrones where also not edible. The chicharrones were large spongy, rubbery and not crispy at all. I could have eaten at Red Lobster For $52 and probably had friendly service. We will not return.

So far we have eaten here 4 times and everything has been very good and authentic in flavor. I would not recommend this for people that do not know what authentic Mexican food is like or supposed to be as there are different tastes and textures that not all can appreciate. As for me and a coworker, we are absolutely hooked on their burritos. Very very good food! Absolutely authentic!

Great customer service. Resturant very clean. Menu hard to read. Food is very expensive. You get big portions. Quality could be better.

I guess a expected a little more! It’s was counter service. I had two tamales smothered in, just ok, Green chilie with lettuce, tomatoes on the side. Seemed a little lacking for $13.35 a plate. Maybe if it came with rice or beans on the side I would have felt better.

The best burrito ever and the WORST customer service ever. Also pretty pricey… but it is good food.
