What a great discovery. Someone we met earlier in the day recommended this place and so we gave it a try. Wow. Small venue with wonderful food filled with flavor and range. This is a place we shall return! The service was great as we were net with smiles and friendly people. You be glad you went.

I’ll start by saying the service at The Wilder was pretty subpar. As a customer I didn’t feel like my time was respected. I understand that sometimes it comes down to how busy it is but this was definitely not one of those times. I’d recommend hiring another waiter if that’s the norm.

My boyfriend and I wandered into The Wilder on the early end of dinner on a Saturday in late September. We were warmly greeted, seated and had our drinks (a beer and glass of wine) in hand in minutes. The starter of roasted Brussels sprouts, radishes, and bacon served in an acidic mustard sauce was fantastic. We also shared the 1/2 lb burger of the day, which was a spicy blend of sirloin and prosciutto, topped with a soft creamy cheese and a perfectly balanced raspberry “ketchup.” The fries were well seasoned and crispy and their housemade side sauce was a bit on the smoky side. We ordered one other cocktail and our bill was under $50! What a perfect date night and I recommend getting out of Minneapolis for a truly cozy experience with a lot of bang for your buck.

Service and speed were OK. Bison steaks were not steaks but ground meat and super salty. Lavender lemonade is too sour and barely have a hint of lavender in it. Champagne pancakes were delicious but extremely small, kind of like at Michelin taste course restaurants in Europe, actually the smallest I ever seen. Korean wings looked really good but lacked flavour. We asked for separate checks, but were given only one in the end. Had to ask to split it 2 times, because they split it wrong the first time.

Located in the quaint town of Bayport nestled on the St. Criox River. This resturant is fantastic. The food is rotational, so be sure to pay attention on the website or social media. The food is always great. The drinks were very strong. The resturant is small, but the food speaks leaps and bounds and I highly recommend going. I know I will be going back.

Emily is amazing! I sure hope she is the owner because, she is nothing short of outstanding! Emily has served us some of the best meals we have ever had (sorry mom)!!!! I cannot tell you how amazing this place this. From someone who has travelled the world I cannot stress the quality of The Wilder. If you live any where near here, let me tell you your trip you will be so worth it to come here. We recommend everything! I mean everything. There is not a bad item on this menu. The staff deserves every single Michelin star along with the food. Find this amazing gem, and I promise it will be your go to spot for dinner. I cannot rave enough about the menu and the staff, seriously you guys put my favorite 5 star restaurant in Italy to shame. Thank you so much!
