Authentic Nigerian cuisine!!!! Excellent flavor. This is always my first stop when I get to Phoenix. I’m Nigerian and have tried almost everything on the menu. I love it. Portions are huge I always eat at least 2-3 times with an order. Definitely worth the price. My favs are Egusi and Okra stew with Pounded Yam. I always also order jollof rice to pair with the stew. Also, try the suya. It’s like African BBQ. So damn good! I love this place.

I drove all the way on the other side of town 45 minutes and put Fufu down in my order to not get any but, rice! My order was pointless and was a total waste of my drive. I also saw the option where it said add double Fufu didn’t want double Fufu I am just a single person ordering for myself. so I figured it came as a meal because it came with a side of rice and a drink. If it wasn’t apart of that option a suggestion I would do is add that in the description next to your soups. Totally disappointed I even added a little description w/ Fufu in my receipt.

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service at this establishment. Beware if you are not familiar with the food because especially if it’s your first time dining then you will not be able to exchange. The main issue was the staff and management. The staff came across as very unprofessional when one of the workers there was asked if an order could be exchanged for something more filling, mind you the original order was not touched, instead of simply stating that due to policy he was unable to make the exchange, which is completely fine, he instead wasted my time by going through the food for whatever reason then calling another employee from the back to, I suppose, take a look at the food too. Then after all that he calls his manager and speaks to her for a few minutes then proceeds to hand his cellphone over all for the manager to reiterate what she said to him to repeat again and she said no. That was very unprofessional and unnecessary. Why not just say that in the first place? However, I am use to restaurants regardless of whether they are 5 star or a fast food establishment they are always able to make an exchange if you’re dissatisfied with your order. Regardless customer service at this restaurant needs to improve to a far more professional level. Very disappointing experience overall.

Such a cool place even the staff that we interacted with at the pick up window were so friendly and sweet. One person from the kitchen came out to the seated lobby area and brought our drinks order because we needed a drink because of the weather and my wife loved the experience, treatment and food. Shout out to the people who do this. Lovely food lovely people happy customers

I enjoyed the turkey, but didn’t enjoy the okra soup. I feel, it could taste better with the seasoning and the salt. The poudo yam was quite nice. It made me miss the okro soup I got used to back in Nigeria. Overall, I believe it can get better.

My sister and I visited to try out the food, it was very delicious and reminded me of home. I ordered egusi soup and fufu, this is a match made in Heaven then I had from my sister’s goatmeat peppersoup, it was an wholesome experience. We both decided to give reviews because we see that when one person give a bad review, they use up to 4 accounts to give a 1 star of just one experience they had. Some people are just wicked

The only reason I didnt give a 5 star rating on the Egusi Soup, is it was too hot to eat. I dont mind a little heat, I like to enjoy tasting & eating my food without the inside of my mouth on fire. Other than that food is Excellent … please cut out some of the heat out for a person to enjoy. I enjoy Nigerian food. The price is good.

This was undoubtedly an experience. The experience and the superb cuisine made up for the somewhat inflated pricing. When it is ready, you will get a text on your device once you have sat down and received your order from one of the customer service reps via a kiosk you can dine in or have to go. Loved the okra and fufu combo, meal was spicy as hell but so much flavor

Being a Nigerian food novice I really did not know what to expect but oh my goodness this was so so good. The Grill Buss Down was incredible. It was perfectly seasoned, the skin was just crunchy enough and the fish was tender. I don’t know what the chef’s secret sauce is but it is so good! That sauce with the plantains was the perfect combo. I am still thinking about that fish and can’t wait to have it again. I highly recommend Nkechi’s! It was a great experience and introduction into Nigerian food.
