My family and I have been going to La Tela for years when we vacation at Seabrook. Great service, delicious food, and an enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend their butternut squash salad!!

Always great food when we go. They were super busy this afternoon however they made rooms for the 4 of us to sit at the island so we didn’t have to wait. Staff was great and very friendly even during the lunch rush. Great recommendations on beer.

My sausage pizza was excellent. Many types of pizza available along with salads and pasta dishes. Full bar available. Very good service.

This is a casual place with very tasty food. The best things on the menu are the wood-fired pizza and the fresh pasta. Delicious! The chicken parmigiana was pretty good. Ceasar salad was tasty, though slightly under-dressed and could have used an upgrade of shaved parmesan rather than the more pedestrian grated stuff. The mixed green salad was nice and had a good dressing. They are doing both dine-in and carryout with seating both indoors and out. Service was decent, not great. Great for families.

Even on a busy Saturday night, the service was really good. The pizza we ordered was really good but their mixed greens salad was exceptionally good! We would definitely come back.

Tasted the meatball and garlic bread appetizer. They were good but not great. The edges of my ravioli were rock hard and inedible. I didn’t send them back because our server was very nice but seemed overwhelmed and I didn’t want to wait for another disappointing entree. There isn’t any atmosphere to speak of, just hard flat surfaces that make the space noisy. They do not take reservations, which means long waits.

The wood-fired pizza was good, but the other items we ordered (chicken parm and pasta with alfredo sauce) were okay at best and overpriced even for Kiawah Island. I gave the food 4 stars on the strength of the pizza, but if half stars were an option, I would have selected 3.5.

Outstanding pizza! Get the mushroom if you like garlic its the ticket. Ceasars salad is perfect. Homemade bread before was noteworthy. Will be back!

Have been here a few times over the years and have always been happy with the quality of the food and the service. Expect a long wait time, but just get your name on the list and go shopping. They’ll text when it’s time. When other restaurants in the area seem to be extremely short staffed, they seemed well covered. I’m assuming that probably means they treat their employees well.
