The ribs were horrible. They seemed boiled and then sauce added. They had no smokey flavor what so ever. The interior membrane wasn’t removed. The yams were canned.

Decided to give it a try again. The collard greens are clearly canned(tastes disgusting) . The cabbage was mushy and flavorless, even tried putting hot sauce on it. The Salsbury steak was OK. I can see why I stopped coming here.

One of the best “meat n 2 veg” places in town. It’s worn down but you come for the food, not fancy settings. Good portions but watch that tea, it’ll put you in a sugar coma (unless you love it super sweet). Good staff.

The place Looked sketchy but I was willing to give it a try. The food was not good! The fish was overcooked and cold. The Mac was like Kraft Mac and cheese. The food had no seasoning and tasted old! Couldn’t even finish my plate. I hate wasting money on bad food.

I would pass on this hole in the wall. $9 meat plus two sides. I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn bread. Taste and quality aren’t as great as others like Busy Bee or Mary Macs. Def not a nice interior either but I could overlook that for a good ol country grandma experience- I’ll keep looking. Also it’s true it’s take out only.
