Throwing this out there because I think prior reviews may be keeping people from trying this place but they have new ownership, so maybe its worth trying again??

Little Italy Pizza is a new pizzeria located in Mt Pleasant Market Place shopping center in Chesapeake. Connecting roads are Mt Pleasant Rd and Centerville Turnpike. The restaurant location is within the former Casa Di Costanzo Pizza where the owners recently retired.

I had to come back and edit this review. Both our pizzas tonight were awful. No flavor, no sauce. There was not a hint of Italian flavor! It was cheese on soggy dough and the other one was veggies on dough. I found it so strange it had no spices nothing ! Not sure who cooked the pizza’s tonight but we’re done.

Ordered Margarita pizza, here is description: fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic, and fresh(!!!) mozzarella. I don’t think the owner of the place have ever seen fresh mozzarella in his/her life. Sauce – can’t even tell the flavor, cheese – already mentioned it, tomatoes – they tried, crust – wow, bad bad bad. Please stick with redneck pepperoni or whatever, I bet 7/eleven could’ve made better margarita pizza

We ordered almost weekly from Casa Di Costanza, the restaurant Little Italy bought and replaced. So we decided to give Little Italy a try. Unfortunately, this order was pretty terrible. The crust was so hard it was inedible, the white pizza was very salty and the crust was hard and crunchy as well. No one in the family enjoyed their dinner. We might give it another try in the future because of others good reviews but not anytime soon.

I had some Lasagna at this location and couldn’t eat but part of it it was so bad. I really hate this company bought out the other pizza place because the other place had the best pizza I have ever eaten. I haven’t ordered pizza from them sense they sold out and never will.

Been to this place a couple times and enjoyed the pizza, however today I went in for lunch and was the only customer and waited over 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged by the staff. Was told to seat myself and they would be with me shortly. However I sat there for 15 minutes while the waitress played on her cell phone. I got up and walked out and the waitress looked up from her phone but didn’t say a word. I will never go back to this restaurant after being treated this way. Poor customer service!!!!

If you haven’t been in a while, give it a try. Pizza is very similar to former Casa di Costanza. Server was friendly and attentive.

Went because of our history with the previous restaurant, Casa di Costanza. Was hastily greeted by two waitresses behind the counter who were busy on their phones, told to sit anywhere. Walked by tables covered in spilled drinks and food, and waited 10 minutes for drinks though we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. Meanwhile our waitress cursed within earshot before coming to see if we were ready to order. We said no, because we needed to ask questions since our last experience was with casa. As soon as we said we weren’t ready to order the waitress walked, almost ran, from our table while we were in the middle of asking a question. Needless to say, currently waiting for our food at Chichos.

I was alittle nervous about this place after reading some of the reviews but I’ve had nothing but great service and delicious pizza! Highly recommended.
