Everything here was nice!! I have been wanting to come here for some time but just never had the time to. I purchased the pancakes with duck butter and sausage biscuit.. everything was good! Only thing I will say is I wish there was more duck butter to come with (in a small container) since you have to order it separately. I ate the sausage biscuit for breakfast the next day and was delish! I intend to return when there are less crowds. My total was around ~$15.

Went here, while here, because it was highly recommended. They were serving from both the breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered breakfast food and my cousin ordered meat and vegetables. I only ate about 4 bites of the pancakes, because they were so heavy. The grits were so bland that even salt, pepper, and butter didn’t improve the flavor. I did eat the smoked sausage. I pushed my plate to the side and ordered two vegetables that I knew were good, because my cousin had them. The waitress never asked why I didn’t eat the breakfast I had ordered. That surprised me. And worst of all, the bathroom was nasty!

The food is great and we have always loved the food that will never change but the service is the reason we will not be coming back. I know one review won’t change anything or taken into consideration but my last experience was awful. Our server came to the table very rudely and asked what we wanted like it was a bother for drinks and I ordered a coke and he ordered a cranberry juice and she brought it in a bottle only warm which was whatever but we asked for a cup of ice and she said ok and took our order and didn’t think twice we’ll I order chicken tender dinner and asked for a side of ranch while ordering so I didn’t have to bother when it came and he ordered and we were both out of drinks waiting for food, not once did our waitress come back. She looked at us and we tried flagging down just to get a refill and ignored us once more he was still waiting for a cup of ice from first encounter. Finally waitress comes over with food and I’m missing ranch and he was missing toast and of course again refills and we asked for it and she said ok walked away never came back once more, I had my boyfriend get up just to ask for these items once more because we are paying costumers who really wanted all we’re paying for and thirsty and she came to table and said she has multiple tables to stop asking for things she doesn’t have time for and walks away once more with absolutely nothing for us. It was extremely awful experience I wish on no one because I was extremely nice during this because maybe she was having a bad day but it was really rude and un called for. The rush at the time wasn’t terribly busy and even if so you make money or tables so wouldn’t you treat paying customers with respect for a good tip? Like I stayed food was GREAT and our other experiences were fine but after this one we can’t see ourselves coming back ever. Terrible service and not kind.

One of the busy places in Starkville where you might need to wait for getting a table. Their brunch menu is good ( I have not visited for dinner yet) so as the food quality. might complain about the portion size though. The place in the downtown has its own old vibe that you would love to dine in. I would definitely recommend this place.

Came here only if you are white people where you will be treated as normal people. Otherwise, go to McDonald that you don’t need to wait for one hour after ordered while your next table came 30 mins later and finished their lunch before you got food.

Don’t get me wrong. I love the food, it’s amazing. But the service and the wait time for our food was terrible. Our order was wrong and it took 50 minutes for our wrong order to get to our table.
