This upscale Japanese Yakiniku joint is a long-standing destination in the Seattle area, previously located in Bellevue. Weekends are synonymous with lengthy queues, so I strategically visited on a Tuesday right as they opened. Despite reservations, the dining window tops out at 1.5 hours. The meats, especially the beef are indeed top-tier quality. The cuts were nice. But let’s be real, quality comes at a price. Tthe pricier selections could set you back around $100 per person. Aside from their mouthwatering Yakiniku, the grilled eel left me floored. Unexpectedly fantastic, boasting a uniquely sticky and soft texture. If you’re up for indulgence and have a hankering for Yakiniku mastery, consider this spot a must-visit.

Very clean. Food is good. Most importantly, you want feel a lot of smoke when barbecuing. Their already-made food is also highly recommended! We get some alcohol, and spend around 62 per person.

My favorite Japanese style barbecue in Seattle. The meat quality is the best. Even the simple pork belly is amazing.

Yes yes yes! It’s so good, the beef combo with some rice actually would be enough for two persons. They said it’s the best Japanese BBQ in town and so far I believe so!

First time going there and I went without making reservations. They told me walk-ins are only allowed one hour whereas reserved customers get one and a half hours. I tried anyways. Food was so-so, the pork jowl with spicy miso sauce was decent but all of the meat are pretty bland. Beef and the rest of the food were all so-so. Service was fine.

Make sure to order the A5 Truffle sandwich, then order 3 more, and pair it with ASAHI SUPER DRY ON TAP (!!!). Tasted incredible, the Ishoni beef house combo was great too.

Poor service! My friend and I were celebrating his birthday and after I told the waitress it’s my friend’s birthday, there was absolutely no reactions, not even a happy birthday. We brought a birthday cake and we took it back without having it. The food is over rated.

Very tasty and rich! Would definitely recommend not just getting the meat because it might get too rich.
