Overall a very poor experience. We walked in on a Saturday morning (August 5th) and I assume we were one of the very first customers of the day (if not the first ones). We took a few minutes to look at the menu and when we were ready to order things just became chaotic. The person taking the order made us feel as if we were a burden to them. He didn’t listen to the order, he mistakingly made us a dessert when I was asking for nachos, then gave me a dirty look when I mentioned I didn’t order the dessert. My husband felt bad and decided to pay for the dessert either way.

Cashier needs to work on her attitude!! worst customer service. She has a bad attitude, and practically threw my money back when i paid with 100 dll bill, saying she had no change, understandable, but really didn’t give no positive attitude from. I fell in love with this, if I had one nearby I’d eat here often. All of the menu options have just about the same ingredients, only put together in a different way. I had the tostada with their chicken and their green sauce (I don’t remember what it’s called but it was delicious). Try the 3 leches really good. They also have a very refreshing minty drink (if you like mint this is for you). Everything was delicious, we ate at Cafe Rio twice during our 7 day trip. Once in Vernal, Utah and in Denver, Colorado.

I always enjoy the food here. Bt the tables are rarely cleaned. Today my table was disgusting w/sticky and dirty food remains. Meanwhile the staff wasn’t busy at 2pm while just a few patrons were inside the joint. Not cool. Please do better management?

Love this place, I have been coming here for years. I always get their shredded chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce, not once have I had a bad experience. I also tried their birria tacos, they were good and came with the sauce to dip them in. I highly suggest their queso and strawberry lemonade, so good!!! I was there yesterday, and the staff were fantastic, they were friendly and quick to make my order. I will definitely be back.

This is my favorite place. Way better than Doba and Chipotle. The sauces are better, the portions are generous. The meat is tastier! I love to order their salad and the creamy tomatillo dressing. It is AMAZING. The steak quesadilla is phenomenal. I love their green chile, it’s kinda of sweet and different! I just can’t get enough of this place. If you like pork try the sweet barbacoa.. soooo good. I gave up pork recently so have one for me!
