Have been excited to try since seeing Champa in the running for best Thai on island in Honolulu Magazine’s annual poll. Meh, came away unimpressed. Decor is uninspired and wait staff seems preoccupied. As we were sitting down two tables of people were all but begging to get their checks and contemplating just dropping cash and leaving. Food-wise the mini spring rolls were a hit and the rest of the dishes were alright. Our party of four left full and happy but with a long list of restaurants to try before returning back to this one.

Pretty good Thai food. The medium spice level was not nearly spicy enough for me so I had to add a lot of chili sauce

We ordered summer rolls, satay chicken, Papaya Salad, Panang curry with pork, the eggplant dish with chicken and sticky rice. Then we topped it off with an order of the mango sticky rice, which was the perfect sweet ending to a delicious meal. Everything was excellent. Service was quick and courteous. Looking forward to dining there again soon.

Champa is under new management and SO much better now. Good portions and very flavorful. They use real chow fun noodles. Best Thai I’ve had on island in a year of living here. Highly recommend!

Chicken Pad See Ew – THAI HOT!!! Absolutely loved it. This place has been our go-to for Thai food and we absolutely love it!!! If you like it spicy with a tingling heat on your lips, ask them to make it spicier than possible. Thanks for the amazing food Joe!

The selection such as lunch specials r great seems the flavors r stronger also not just the heat element. The crispy is more crispy, fish chicken, haven’t had all thing yet but so far good!! Enjoy!! Left overs made great dinner!!

Food used to be good here. I don’t know if it’s an effect of the pandemic but quality appears to have gone down. We ordered shrimp pad Thai for $15. We received a half empty styrofoam box. Noodles were in one half of the box with 6 pieces of shrimp. It was barely a snack sized amount. The other half just had some raw mung bean sprouts. We’ve ordered from other places, and they actually fill the container with food. Flavor was nothing special. We keep giving this place a chance and keep getting disappointed. No more.

The food is always great and the waiter is awesome also. Very nice guy. If you love Thai food, I highly recommend this place. I’ve been to 7 Thai restaurants and I have to say this one is number one in my opinion so far.

OK, since writing this review, the restaurant has changed hands. The new owners have already addressed many of the issues relayed in the write-up below. I expect that as they ramp up, the menu will change a bit and the overall experience will begin to gravitate to 5 stars. We’ll see. Give them a try and see for yourself. I’m very pleased with the changes in such a short time.
