I must say that I was skeptical at first. Our favorite sushi place was closed, so we decided to try Sushi Ichiban and were NOT disappointed! On the contrary – the size of the sushi rolls in relation to the fresh fish proportions and $$ – was very good! The staff was very friendly, attentive, patient, and simply fun to talk to! We will definitely be back for more!

Truthfully I was not satisfied for having paid $50 for 2 rolls. One roll was extremely big having a lot of crab in it. For a $23 roll I would rather a small higher quality one than a big lower quality one. Both rolls were smothered in sauce taking away from the flavor of the fish. Depends on preference I guess.

I instantly got the smell of fish when I walked in the door. I thought the food was going to be better. I waited for an hour for the food and it sat up there for 20 to 30 minutes and when it finally got to me. The sushi smelled bad. I didn’t eat even eat the sushi. I was afraid about getting food poisoning from it. I have had better sushi at 711

I love sushi and my fiancé too! So we just got to the city (just moved) and this was our first family dinner place! The girls loved the udon soup, my fiancé got a noodle spicy soup and was delicious! I got rainbow roll and it was so good. We will be back for sure. There was a waiting list to get seated but it was worth the wait.
