The best tasting and most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in AZ so far! My only complaint would be just that the michelada needed a little more Clamato in it. The food was cooked fantastically and the housemade salsa was hot and delicious! Their tortillas are handmade and complimented the food very well. I’d definitely go back to eat there again. Portion size and pricing were fair.

Let me do you a favor, don’t waste precious time of your life by coming to this place. Service is awful, the worst the slowest ! There were a bunch of waitresses but none of them seem to care to give a good service to customers. And food really wasn’t worth the wait. Meat was pretty salty but the chicken was lacking flavor, the nopales almost sure were canned nopales. The expensive quesadilla with bearly some meat. And the place is expensive ! For the three of us and my girl just ordering two plain taquitos, my husband a quesadilla and I had the combo plate it was $65 !! The name of this place should be change since obviously it is not la mejor comida mexicana oh nope, it’s faaar away from that. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

Have driven by this place for years, had no idea how tasty the food would be. The barbacoa was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The caldo served was a nice addition. The homemade corn tortillas were a nice throwback to childhood, the horchata sweetened just right. The queso plancha was a treat! What I couldn’t finish in my sitting, I took home.

Don’t bother coming to this place, if you come with a large group they’ll give you a time limit to eat before they start announcing it through the microphone that if you been there over a certain time you would have to wrap it up. On top of all of that they take forever to bring you your check or check up on you to see if you’re finished. We have been sitting here for the past 30minutes for them to bring our check. Horrible service.

Probably 1 of 3 places where you can get lamb barbacoa in the city maybe the state. The barbacoa was Amazing. Super tender full of flavor. The tortillas hand made and the salsas were good. The green salsa is cool and mild and the red is pretty spicey even formmy standards. I definitely need to go back and try the other items on the menu. The decor isn’t amazing but it’s the decor of food tasting Mexican food.
