Husband ordered chicken fried steak but got chicken fried chicken. Roll had a touch of mold on it, so sent it back for hush puppies and potatoes are instant. Chicken was delicious though.

Fabulous hometown eatery! I enjoyed my smoked turkey wrap with a side of potato Salad. My husband enjoyed his Country fried steak with mashed potatoes, white gravy, fried okra and cornbread (on the lunch menu). The place wasn’t crowded, the food was very fresh and flavorful and the dining area was clean and comfortable. The portion sizes are quite generous and the service is fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I’ve only had the Cobb salad a couple of times and it’s excellent. Large portions and well worth the price. Friendly place. I recommend. Have to add the atmosphere of the place is not pleasing. Decor is pretty tacky! But I will continue to get takeout and enjoy it in my own house.

Their “Sassy” omelette is everything! Stuffed with shrimp, crab meat, crawfish, tomatoes, & spinach! It’s good by itself, but I always add sautéed onions & bell peppers! With grits & a biscuit & it’s more than enough. Also their Belgian waffles are so dense & delicious… perfectly cooked! We always order takeout & the it’s always hot & ready at the estimated time. Whether you are a local or just passing through & want a taste of the Gulf Coast, the “Sassy” omelette is where it’s at!

Customer service was phenomenal. Ordered a BLT and corn nuggets. The sandwich was dry, and the bacon was crunchy like I prefer. The sandwich would of been better presented and easier to eat if it was cut in half. Not a large portion of corn nugs but they were tasty. $12 with a tip.

We had the catfish and it was Amazing! 4 large pieces on the 12.99 lunch Homemade slaw and the best hush puppies I’ve had in years. We also had the fried green tomatoes . We had a lady who was getting fish tell us she ate here the day before and they had the shrimp and it was delicious. She also recommended the fried okra. We are here for two months and I’m sure we will make this a bi weekly stop at the least. Excellent service and food!
