I came in here for dinner 2 hours before closing time. You get double the amount for the same price than you would get at chipotle or a chain-restaurant. The portion was a great size. I got a chicken and rice empanada and it was delicious. The rice and beans were bland but they were still really good. The burrito was overflowing with meat. It was good, but I could tell it wasn’t fresh and had been sitting for some time/was reheated. In one of the reviews it showed all the ingredients fresh and out, I’m willing to say that if that were the case and I had come in earlier, it would have been better. The employees were really nice. I am rooting for this place and I really wanted to like it more. There wasn’t a lot of other customers and it was nearing closing so I understand the meat not being freshly made. I hope to give them a try again, preferably around lunch time and come back with a raving review. I think the rice and beans were good but they could start to incorporate a little more flavor, given this is a Mexican joint.

Taco Rey Coliman is a sprinkle of different flavor this town desperately needs! The food is great for it’s price and abundant, I love getting a big plate full every time. I brought a friend who also got the chicken empanada meal and loved it!

I dont usually leave reviews but I got the Nacho Rey today and it was amazing. Everything was fresh, the meat was tender, and the chips were crunchy. The cook apologized for the wait but i’ll wait longer every time for quality food.

Cozy little place with easy on street parking in downtown Gardner. Good menu, friendly staff. My partner and I ordered some burritos and chips with salsa for take out for less than $25. The meal was delicious, the portions were just right and the salsa had a very nice “kick” to it. Will be back next time I’m in town.

Was very disappointed with Taco Rey Coliman. It’s Cinco de Mayo. Our office was very excited to get take out from here. I called at 11:14am and was told that they would not take an order until 11:45am. I explained I had 7 orders to place and it would give them extra time, but I was turned away. I started calling back at 11:44am for 10 minutes. They never answered the phone. It just kept going to a fax machine. We’ll be sure to never order from them again.

Wonderfull little place. The food is awesome, we had the Chimchanga Ranchera and the Encheladas. Both dishes were larger than we should eat bet we overstuffed because the food was so good. The saff were all very friendly. We will definaltely be back and also recomend Taco Rey Coliman.

I’ve ordered before but this was a total disappointment! I ordered 2 Carnita dinners which says shredded pork, we got fried pork chops and it was a mess!! They musta been having a BAD day cause it was the worst when usually its amazing so idk….. we ordered Mexican soda and got all Sprites!!! Was super upset!!!

It was my first time here and I ordered a chicken chimichanga with rice and beans for take out. The food was amazing! I plan to order more often and look forward to trying other items on their menu. I’ve tried many local spots and I’m very impressed by what I had. This is a real gem, as another commented!
