Nice and cozy diner spot. We came for breakfast and they had the classics. We ordered a breakfast bagel, egg platter that came with sausage, home fries & toast and and order of pancakes. It was all delicious & affordable. The waitress was also very nice.

I tried to have a delivery order today this morning and the person I spoke to the phone with said my order was too little for him to move his car…. What kind of customer service is that? Ain’t the customers first? So first my order was to small of an amount cause this guy wanted me to spend over 40$ as per his words. And that I would have to wait till 7am or pick up my order myself. Horrible customer service.

This place is delicious, I have the triple decker grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and lettuce. Everything came out hot and it was one of the best meals I had during my stay. The coffee was also very good which I didn’t expect. I Would definitely recommend Gus’s to anyone.

I just entered this place with my 3 year old daughter because she desperately needed to use the potty. Owner’s response- get out of here- while he was on the phone. I was shocked, and could not believe the owner’s response. The place was empty and I am just appalled.

Had breakfast here with my family over the weekend. Absolutely phenomenal service. The food was amazing as well! This is a very hospitable small business that unfortunately have been going out of business from the pandemic. There is a lot of comments regarding pricing of the food fluctuating, which is 100% warranted! As a hospitality worker in the finance sector, I can say these prices are reasonable and on the lower end of prices considering the costs of items surging nearly 100-300%+ from prepandemic levels. Nevertheless, I look forward to my next visit. Oh, and the hot chocolate is a MUST!

I ordered the BBQ steak sandwich and was the worst Sandwich I have ever eaten! The steak was not even a steak!!! It was something without a taste! The price was around 12 for that and when I was about to pay it came out $15!!! I have eaten pretty much everywhere in New York but never had taste such a bad food as in this place!
