Ok so we have followed this family from location on Main St. to B St. and now here downtown. Aguachile. Empanadas de camaron. Camarones a la plancha. Some of our favorites. Every item on the menu is worth a try. We have brought family and friends and always get great reviews.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! We ordered the Botana Familiar it’s a big appetizer plate perfect for two people. The owner/cook greeted us and asked us how we liked his dish. The flavors were awesome. He really seemed like he appreciates his art in cooking dishes. I would definitely come back. I know they’re probably still trying to figure out the decorum of the restaurant so I would recommend them to make the restaurant more of Mexican home feel since the food definitely tasted homemade and fresh or perhaps ocean theme with Mexican accents.

This place is so good. They also have alcohol best seafood place in stockton. I love everything here and great location. They also have great breakfast. Best horchata and pineapple water is my fav. I have been here several times

Unfortunately, nearly every single measurable factor gets a one star or less from our experience. The place is grimy, and the bathrooms need attention. The wait staff seemed rushed, even with just one other table in the restaurant. The food was horrible – the salsa tasted like it had canned tomato sauce as its base. The tortilla chips were rock hard and rough, like a giant bag of whole wheat tortilla chips from Costco, not even warmed up to apologize for the clear lack of care. The pozole came with an unrecognizable meat – which we presumed was beef that was nearly spoiled. The same recognizable smell and taste was also on their street tacos, which had very little going for them other than a splash of taco sauce and the beef. Tried a premium ceviche-like dish that was just bland and unimaginative. Avoid at all costs.
