Had such a great experience for our one year anniversary. We come here often as it’s one of the best sushi spots in Miami. Tomo and the chef team curated an amazing omakase experience for us where they were able to use their creativity for all of the nigiris, hand rolls, etc. Everything from the uni to the wagyu was presented beautifully on each plate and the service and timing was perfectly in sync. Tomo especially is a rockstar and we are excited to come back soon.

Where do I start. How do you put perfection of the taste sense into words? The simple answer is you don’t. You go taste it. Yasu Tanaka is located in a trendy interior food hall in the design district of Miami. That being said, it is staffed will the most amazing humans who prepare sushi that will literally melt in your mouth. This is my favorite food and I’ve had it all over the world. This is the best I have ever had excluding japan. There is no show no nothing. You get an attentive staff, and perfect fish. What else do you need. Go now. GO. 20 stars.

Delicious! Fresh and delicious traditional sushi. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the impeccable ingredients. The omakase was so delightful: a perfect mix of the freshest fish treated in the simplest way. I also had 3 hand rolls that I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of. Will keep coming back!

I honestly can’t rave about this spot enough! It is the actual definition of a hidden gem and although, it’s hard for me to want to share, it absolutely deserves every ounce of recognition! My bf brought me here for one of our first dates and now we come at least once a month and it has won our hearts for favorite place in Miami! We are huge sushi fans and there is no where that has even compared.
