This is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. They put a lot of love into their food, it’s homemade and everything tastes authentic. The entrance and entire restaurant is wheelchair friendly. My only complaint – and I do adore everyone there – but my only complaint is the service. We were there for over an hour today and were only checked on 1 time. My daughter was missing her drink and our queso went cold waiting fir someone to bring more chips. There were 3 servers and only 5 tables with people, so it wasn’t busy. I also wanted my tortilla soup as an appetizer but it came out with my food. In the evenings when they are busy, though, the service is great!

I’ve visited a lot of Mexican restaurants. LaCatrina is one of the best for authentic Mexican food. We ordered the chicken burrito and black bean burrito, both with Ranchero sauce. These came with Mexican rice and beans. The food was hot and excellent. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of room. The salsa is very mild and chips are incredible. We recently stopped visiting another Mexican restaurant in town due to the price increase and lack of cleanliness. The prices here are very reasonable.

Hands down my favorite Mexican food restaurant around! The food is amazing, the strawberry mojitos are so good, and the service is always good as well. I love the atmosphere as well. I definitely recommend trying this place if you haven’t yet.

This is our favorite local Mexican restaurant! The salsa is SO good. The only reason we gave it a 4 is because it’s kind of pricey. We don’t mind spending money on food however, even the lunch prices were high compared to their competition!

We went the day of the grand opening. All of the food was so good! The tacos were very small though. The staff was very friendly but you could tell some were still learning. The service needs a lot of work. I really hope they improve it. We had great service until it was time to get our bill. We waited and waited for it to come but our waiter disappeared for about 20 min. We will definitely be back, probably after its been open for a little while.

If you like a 2009 Shakira CD on repeat and microwave Mexican food, this is the place for you. Came here a year ago and it was great. Today, well…..nope. “Chef Mike” in the back nuking everything is doing the best he can, but definitely is acting his wage. Skimpy portions, not tasty food. Fajitas barely had any sizzle and no eye appeal either. Apparently I got off on the wrong exit on my way to flavortown.
