Awesome experience! Head gentlemen was so engaging and friendly, he’s originally from Germany as well. Very quick and responsive service. Great food and beer and reasonably priced. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area and like authentic German beer and food!

UPDATE June 2023: Met friends here to say goodbye to a friend leaving CA, and it was busy! They’ve expanded the food menu to include Cordon Bleu and Bavarian meatloaf and new sauces… everyone loved it and portions were perfect. Best send off our buddy could have. Plenty of shade and coolers in the patio and the AC inside kept people cool enough on a triple digit day in the valley.

Holy Cow! Was not expecting this! Friends invited us to meet them for some German food. So I Googled it to figure out what they served. Gawd damn it was delicious! I enjoyed the Chicken Cordon Bleu, a side salad, and some potato croquettes. Totally recommend this joint just east of Stockton! Yummm!

German Guys has outstanding authentic German food and a friendly, family like atmosphere. It has fast become my favorite restaurant in the area. Having been to Germany on a few occasions I can say that when eating there I feel like I’m somewhere in Germany having a really good meal. Highly, highly recommended!

We all had different schnitzels and sides. All were great, portions maybe a little small. My friend really liked the gypsy and meatloaf. Location is great for when you’re going to the farms. Awesome German beers. Amazing service. Absolutely going back.

We have been coming to German Guys for a year and it’s always a treat. We make reservations before hand since it can get busy. The service is amazing. Britany was our server and she kept us happy and full and had our beers topped off. If you come on a night with music or special offerings, it’s a good time as well. Christmas brings some traditional German meals.

First time here. Food was excellent as well as service. Katie made sure we doing good continuously. First time for authentic German food. Had the Farmers schnitzel with potato croquettes and spatzel. Very good. Will go back again and try something new. Apple strudel was very good.
