I dined here this afternoon with my dad and two sisters to honor my mother who passed a year ago today. Our server, Alex, was incredible from his service to his compassion and willingness to take our photo together. The owner Frank came out and shook my dads hand and thanked us for choosing this restaurant for the occasion. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a nice waterfront atmosphere, excellent food and service!

Excellent water front dining. The wait time was reasonable, under 20 minutes. First come first serve type of thing. Their bang bang shrimp was excellent and the surf and turf ..hmmm…service staff was very friendly and attentive.

Always enjoyed this spot, be it lunch or beer or both. Right on the corner of Catskill Creek and the Hudson, fresh air in the valley is always available here. I live in Kansas City but grew up in Catskill, I still come to Port of Call every time I visit. The food is good and fresh, the service is warm and inviting and it doesn’t matter if you’re looking for dinner or some night life, its all here.

Went for a walk at the Hudaon Skywalk and was ready for food when I was done. I was having a hard time finding somewhere I wanted to eat. As I moved my map around I found Port of Call and it was opening day! Their menu also was they do lobster well and that got me. I had the Port of Call punch, Maryland Crabcakes, and Lobster roll. You could tell the crabcakes were hand pattied and then fried. Very meaty and barely any filler. Then the lobster roll… could give Boston a run for their money. The bun was so Buttery and the lobster salad had so much flavor. Just a little mayo, celery, spices and big chunks of lobster. Grace was very attentive and took great care of me. So glad I found the restaurant.

The chicken and the fish died in vain. We had lunch recently at the restaurant. The atmosphere was very good. We were seated outside by a friendly and attentive waitress. The food, however left much to be desired. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was tough, chewy, dried out, and flavorless. My wife had the fried fish sandwich. It was overdone an dried out. With a drink, an iced tea and one dessert, the bill was over $70 for lunch. Definitely not worth the money.

The biggest disappointment is an understatement, we went on fathers day and had to send back 2 dishes. The staff was amazing, my only complaint is the food. We sent back the mariners special (table behind us sent back the same dish) and my daughter’s burger that was charred to a crisp. Ended up getting 2 orders of steamers and leaving hungry.

Great waterfront restaurant, in the Catskill Creek. From the same owners as Mariners Harbor. Really fresh and delicious seafood as well as great steaks. Don’t be afraid to ask for a vegan option, the kitchen I made a pasta and vegetable dish for me which was delicious, although it was not on the menu. Great wine list and delicious drink specials. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back again!
