Ryan And Tiff
Heard alot about this place. Had a great waitress who told me whats what and let me try different things. Had a nice cold beer and even soppipa at the end. Good food, fun clean atmosphere, and Manny the owner even came out to check in on us. Good vibe, good place. Will see you again soon.

As a long time Tylerite, I grew up going to El Charro’s and have loved the orange sauce, food, atmosphere. It’s consistently delicious and every time great service. If you want a cocktail, they have a full bar, and wonderful patio space, and live music times as well. I will continue to enjoy Manny’s and get my “orange sauce” fix regularly. (IYKYK!).

Sort of garbage you find in Europe. Not even close to Tex Mex. No self respecting Texan would eat this mess. Taco Bell is better. Why are so many libs moving here from NY and Cali and ruining this state. Go stay on Austin where you belong and let some real cooks show you how it’s done.

No hostess to seat you. Waitress had too many to serve. Waited 25 minutes to order. Ordered the Manny’s Taco dinner which was supposed to be brisket. I received 3 dry soft tortillas with just a few cubes of dry meat in each. I could hardly swallow it. Accompanied with bland rice and what tasted like old beans. All for $17-$18. Terrible. 7/25/23

Not good At all. Salsa tastes and looks like a can of tomato sauce. Queso tasted like a cheap mac&cheese powder made with water. Everything was very bland. I’m guessing there isn’t a chef in house just someone that opens a can. Atmosphere was horrible. I didn’t know if my family was eating at a bar or if the drunks were drinking at a restaurant. Very loud and obnoxious to me but the ones that were intoxicated were having a blast. I hope they made it home safely.

My family and I ate here after my aunts funeral service. The waitress was super nice. There was alot of us and she was quick and on point with everything. The food was great! The restaurant was nice and clean.

My husband and I went here for a meeting. Waitress very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately both times we were there, one waitress is in charge of our large group making it difficult to timely pass out our orders although other waitresses came in to help at that time. I know our group is new for them and we feel it shall get better in future.

Manny’s Tex-Mex Cafe on Beckham Ave in Tyler, TX. I’ve never been before so I thought I’d give it a try since I was on that side of Tyler. I went there this evening, (Saturday 8/5/23), for a take out order. I sat down at a table to place my to go order. I ordered the chicken flautas meal. I was asked if I wanted rice and beans and told the server yes. I also ordered the steak fajitas. I was asked if I wanted corn or flour tortillas and I stated I wanted flour tortillas. I also ordered an adult beverage to drink while I waited. They brought out chips and salsa as well which was really good and had a nice spice to it. I get my check and gave a $9 tip – total bill $60. They brought out my order and the bag was tied in a knot. No worries. I trusted it to be right, which I shouldn’t have done and I left. I get home only to discover I did not get the rice and beans with the flautas meal or any tortillas at all for the fajitas. The salsa they sent home with me was basically tomato juice. V8 has more flavor than this stuff did. No seasoning or spice at all. Very disappointed with all of it and I won’t be back. Too expensive to have that many errors.

I had Mannys years ago and loved it. Not so much now. The salsa tasted like just ketsup, they gave us the special salsa in a little take out container. And the food was not good at all. I had a gift card I had received that they wouldn’t except. I brought a person from out of state here to eat and I was embarrassed.

Just got home from there. Went there with my wife and while walking to the car I remarked that it was one of the worst meals I have ever had. She agreed with me. Parts of our order just didn’t show up at all. I need to go brush my teeth to get the taste out of my mouth. Service was very slow, place is very understaffed. The owner needs to step up and do his job.
