We had an absolutely delightful lunch there on a cool, sunny Saturday. The outside seating couldn’t be more pleasant, and Julio was a very pleasant and attentive server. The food was delicious — the mussels, chorizo, and bean tapas was light but just big enough for lunch, especially when accompanied by their amazing bread. My wife ordered her Caesar salad with a grilled chicken breast, which was grilled and seasoned well but still super juicy…seemingly not a combination that some chefs can do. My son got his rigatoni exactly as we ordered it (restricted diet), again something that we’ve had trouble with elsewhere many times.

I thought I found a winner! Apparently I am not the first to give this place 5 stars. The Calamari was delicately crisp without a hint of oil. My dining partner and I were overwhelmed by the entree’s balanced spices and temperature. Really special outside on the patio. Lots of parking and easy access off the I-95 hop off and on quickly.

You can expect the same cozy and festive atmosphere as before but with more than a new name. The menu is new, and while it has held on to some of the favorites from Madeline, like the to-die-for butternut squash soup, there are many new and exciting choices. The scallops small plate is an outrageously delicious blend of flavors that take your taste buds on vacation to paradise! Plus they take reservations, and it’s recommended to do so. We tried to walk in a few times and they were booked solid!

Really like cafe Madeline. It’s almost like the chef is personally cooking your food for you. Great flavors, not a large restaurant but gives a really nice cozy feeling while eating. Full bar. Easy to see from the road whilst driving. Ample parking.

I’m obsessed with this place!!! The food is AMAZING – so consistently delicious and the highest quality ingredients. The service and people are so kind and wonderful. I live in the city now but this is my 1st stop whenever I’m in town. The salmon is the best I’ve ever had, the soups are amazing, the apple almond salad is incredible. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing. I don’t even like chocolate cake and I ate every bite of the chocolate lava type cake – so light and delicious wow. Thank you!!!

A great find! I cannot stop raving about the Branzino I just ate: fresh, not over seasoned, grilled perfectly, lightly sauced on a bed of broccoli rabe. Excellent house wine selections and courteous service. $$$ but worth the experience-even if seating is tight. The Mediterranean fusion recipes here appear to keep it simple, but focused on freshness and delicate flavors. Yes, would go again.

My family and I had a great dinner experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The bread was warm and delicious with the burrata and olive topping. My dinner came out steaming hot, which I like! I had Linguini de Mar and there were plenty of scallops and shrimp. I asked and they added mushrooms to mine, delicious. Even my daughter, who’s a picky eater, really enjoyed her spicy chicken dinner.
