Oh, where do I even start?! This was a FANTASTIC and one-of-a-kind culinary experience! R Kitchen has two locations in Charleston (one on Rutledge Ave. & one in West Ashley). Absolutely wonderful food and experience. Every chef (Alex, Lee and Taylor Kiser) were amazing. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had and I can’t recommend it enough. Eating off a chefs menu is such a unique and special experience. You can really tell these guys know what they’re doing and how passionate they are about it as well.

Delishious food with some twists. Who would think apple compote with tarragon would work for dessert? It was wonderful! Cauliflower and potato soup was like a warm blanket of comfort food. I couldn’t imagine eating steak tartar and they combined it with a lemon mixture that I couldn’t taste the iron. It was a real surprise! A chef comes out and explains each dish and answers any questions. It provides a delightful evening!

This place was AMAZING. It is reservation only, blind 5-course meal. There are 2 locations. The chefs that make each course come out and explain each plate you receive and they do give you chances to let them know dietary restrictions at the time you make the reservation and before they start your dining experience. 10000% recommend, we will be back for sure

What an incredible 5 course dining experience full of interaction between chefs and the guests. You have to go and experience it for yourself. The menu changes daily so while I’ll share my food pics- it’s unlikely you’ll eat the same thing. Make the reservation! Enjoy!
