When you call in your order, everything moves pretty quickly, but when you go inside, the wait is very slow. For that reason, I give “atmosphere” a rating of 3. But the food is very good.

I ordered 2 meals tonite from China King in West Belleville. To start out the guy who took the order took the order in a hurried fashion. Second he didn”t know the menu very well as I was ordering. I order from this location quite often & never had this much trouble placing an order. I ordered a Chicken & Chinese Veg. Combo Platter & a Mei Fun House Special. He then asks what kind of meat? Mei Fun House Special has every kind of meat in it with angel hair pasta. The order took almost an hour to get here as well. Once we took the food out I found my Mei Fun was reduced to a small carton of Lo Mein noodles in some kind of gravy. I called to complain & the individual asked that if I wasn’t happy I should bring the item back.. I am a handicapped individual, I couldn’t. That is why I called in for delivery. Word to the wise, to avoid a communication barrier & possible mistake, order online or check your order at the door. I am disputing the charge on my credit card. Plus they need to train their employee’s how to take orders,

Horrible!!!!!!! They charged me for extra shrimp but didn’t give the to me….. the rice isn’t dark like I asked and then when I called to get it straight….. some jackass acted like he could understand my complaint and kept telling me my order was correct. I’ve been ordering this same thing for a while so I KNOW ITS NOT RIGHT!!!!! ITS COOL!!! There are other places I can and will go to✌

The food is bland and too Americanized. I feel like they put green peppers in every dish they serve. The main complaint is the flavor, or lack of flavor. My chicken fried rice had virtually no chicken in it. Or anything else for that matter! I don’t think we will be eating here again.

I love China King and have been getting their food for many years. The menu offers a tremendous variety and they will spice up or down according to your preferences. The staff and delivery folks are all most courteous. Food comes faster than predicted too. My husband is a picky and non-adventurous eater and he has his favorite dishes there too! We’ve never been disappointed.
