Coworker and I decided to stray from our normal foraging spots today. We stumbled upon the yummy goodness of this place. It beckoned like a friendly Niko cat whispering this is the place. OmG was it. The Godzilla burger filled my large hands with warm, yummy goodness. Filling a spot of hunger I didn’t know existed. Then, the niko fries were on point. My shadow coworker aggress we will be eating through the menu… soon

Hands down in my top 5 burgers of all time. I had the katsu burger with bacon, cabbage, purple onion, teriyaki sauce, pineapple, and wasabi mayo. Never experienced anything like it and as I spent a week in Kent I kept dreaming of going there for lunch. Unfortunately it was only able to go once.

In the midst of corporate parks and industrial complexes sits this small and unassuming Japanese burger place that many locals are probably familiar with, so bear with me locals. As a visitor I had to give it a try after being disappointed with the stunningly bad Buffalo chicken sandwich from Arby’s next door. I ordered the Wabi Wasabi burger. The menu says “beef burger” but I requested to swap that for chicken and the lady warmly complied. Service was quick since it was just me and another customer waiting for his order. I’ve had the Teriyaki chicken burger before and it was a Perfect 10, imho. The Wasabi burger rates 6.5. I kept thinking while working (key word “working”) on the patty that can only be described as enormous that it’s “good but not damn good.” It’s a thoroughly satisfying sandwich, but I personally found the combination of wasabi mayo, which lacked any distinct wasabi flavor, and the dark tangy teriyaki sauce didn’t really work together; like an incompatible couple on a blind date forcing their way into clicking. The raw onions, tomatoes and cabbage only added to the confusion, but I was only too hungry to go along for the ride. It wasn’t an Arby’s-like disappointment, but it left me wishing I got the Teriyaki burger instead. Now that’s the real headliner, imo.

Stopped in after work to grab dinner and service was friendly, place was clean and order did not take very long. The family ordered: Mt. Fuji, Tokyo Tower, Godzilla Attack, 3 Nori Fries, 2 Choc Shakes & 1 Green Tea Shake. Everyone was satisfied with their meals and we all have leftover burgers for lunch tomorrow.

My husband is always talking about this place and we finally went! IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The Ninja with nori fries and miso honey dipping sauce was great! I am not a huge fan of burgers (pork, beef or any other meat) and I was very surprised about how amazing this burger was! Not to salty in the burger or fries and the flavors were very well combined! My husband had the Godzilla attack and it was good but not as good as the ninja! Fountain soda options were unique well worth the addition of a meal to our order! Will go back again for sure!
