When we arrived it was jam packed. Felt unorganized. Everyone is Spanish so it felt authentic. We ordered a few tacos to try, al pastor and asada but they were lacking in flavor and pineapple. Since it’s a bakery we grabbed some bread but it’s desperately lacking in flavor…maybe their batch is off today. Will try again later on.

The molcajetes was delicious!!! A must have when you come to eat here. *UPDATE* I just tried the Torta Cubana and believe me when i tell you, this has got to be one of the best sandwich i have ever tasted. From the simple slices of jamón and roasted pork, carnitas and chorizo makes this dish an excellent meal.

Food, price, portion, and attention were excellent. Only one thing they took too long to prepare our food.

Walked in for breakfast and learned that the Heuvos con Chorizo was the staff recommended breakfast option. What a platter. Served with rice, beans, a salad with avocado / cheese and three amazing homemade tortillas. It was enough food to almost skip lunch. The red sauce (so good) was the sort of heat that makes you sweat, but not stop eating it. The green sauce a milder tomatillo based option. Coffee – (self poured) in classic porcelain curved mugs was nostalgic. Service was more gruff than smiles, but that makes it authentic right? Looking forward going back trying more.

This place was rather small but wow were we surprised. The service was great — the waitress didn’t bother us too much but was definitely available when we needed her. That in of itself was surprising given that she was taking care of many tables while the place was packed. The food was amazing! I wouldn’t say it’s world class and obviously not as good as food in Mexico itself; however, compared to most Mexican restaurants it was genuinely impressive. I myself had the cemita de lengua and wifey had the mole. It was so good that we forgot to take pictures before it was all gone. Best of all, it was all reasonably priced!

This restaurant is very good. The food is very authentic, and very delicious… the staff is nice and friendly. Its not a very big restaurant so from time to time you will not be able to dine in… it doesn’t have very parking lot but its plenty of space for those dining in and those going for take out.

I got 6 orders of tacos for delivery and they charged me extra for hand made tortillas that I never asked for and the meat was had no flavor. Three of the tacos I ordered were wrong. So next time you order there don’t be surprised to get the wrong order.

The service is great and the food is always good. Found them through door dash and I have been a loyal customer since. Their tacos are the best I have tasted in a long time. It’s like a bite of home.

I am Mexican and have been a decent amount of Mexican restaurants and this one has really just gone downhill. The seats were very uncomfortable and just weren’t a good size for the table. The complimentary chips were stale and unsalted. The waitress told us that their seafood is frozen and you could taste it. To be fair the tacos we’re good which I’m always pleased about when visiting a Mexican restaurant. But there was one dish I ordered that was just overbearingly spicy. I was raised eating chile so I can handle myself around hot food but no one else in my party could have a second taste of this dish because of how hot it was. On top of that when we told the manager she insisted it was not that spicy and that were just not used to the heat. We didnt even eat 5% of the dish because how spicy it was but the manager said we’d eaten too much for it to be comp’ed. To top it off she tried overcharging us for food we didn’t order. It’s upsetting that in a restaurant run by my people, filled with my people, with food from my culture, I received an experience so terrible. I will not be coming back and recommend people reading this take their business to other local Mexican restaurants.
